Admission &Tuition

We are currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. The following is  a list of our upcoming Open House dates:

March 11, 2019

March 25, 2019

April 8, 2019

April 29, 2019

When space is available, we accept applications on a rolling basis.


application process

Children in the early childhood program must be potty-trained and at least 3 years old when school begins.

  • Attend a mandatory Open House (see above for dates).

  • Submit an application by May 1st. Include application fee and parent photos.

  • Once the application is received, families will be contacted by City Garden to schedule a small-group conversation. Parents/Guardians will attend this interview, which will not include your child, lasting approximately one hour.

  • Admission decisions are made by City Garden Faculty. Notification will be sent in writing beginning in Mid-March. Applications not accepted will be put in the waiting pool and additional acceptances will be ongoing as spots become available.

Admission priority is given to siblings of current  City Garden children, alumni or returning families, children transferring from other Waldorf programs, and children who turn three-years-old by August 31.

2 day/week $3,900 + $500 supply fee

3 day/week $5,850 + $600 supply fee

5 day/week $9,360 + $700 supply fee   

  • There is a 10% sibling discount for siblings at City Garden

  • Tuition is billed annually from July - April

  • City Garden Follows a traditional school year from September-June.



A $1000 deposit is due with a signed contract each year.

Tuition is managed by our online tuition management system, TADS. You can choose 2,3,6, or 10 installments.

All deposits and supply fees are non-refundable.
